Getting started
Your first day in TrainerSuite, one step at a time.
Six steps, in an order where each one builds on the last. Skip any step and come back to it later.
Add what you offer
Your session types (name, length, price) are what you sell. Every session and package uses one.
Start with the session you sell most, at your usual price, and add others later. Add where you train under Locations too, so each session shows the right place.
Session types and packages, explainedAdd your packages
A package is what a client buys: a number of sessions of one type, at a price. One pack is enough to start. For example, 10 sessions for $800 is $80 a session.
Add your clients
Clients are who you book, count sessions for and get paid by. Add their email, so payment requests and invites can reach them.
A client you already train can start with opening sessions: the sessions they had left with you before TrainerSuite. Opening sessions never count as money collected.
Connect your calendar
Connect the Google or Apple calendar you keep, and the training sessions on it show up in TrainerSuite for the clients they name.
A calendar is optional. You can book everything in TrainerSuite instead.
Calendar sync, explainedTurn on card payments
Connect Stripe under Settings → Card payments, and clients can pay your payment requests by card. The money goes to your own Stripe account, and a card payment adds the sessions right away.
This is optional too. List the ways you already get paid, like Zelle, Venmo or cash, under Payment methods.
Payment requests, explainedConfirm sessions after they happen
Once a session's time passes, you confirm what happened. Only then does it use one of the client's sessions. Booking a session never uses one.
Past sessions wait under Sessions → To confirm, and in Needs you on Home, until you pick what happened. Confirm every day or two, so sessions left stays right.
How TrainerSuite worksTwo more things to know
- You can set up from chat. Connect an AI assistant, like ChatGPT or Claude, and it can add your session types, packages and clients. Nothing changes until you approve it in TrainerSuite.
- TrainerSuite is 30 days free, then $25 a month or $250 a year. The trial needs no card, and each business gets one. Add a card during the trial to keep going after it. Without one, TrainerSuite pauses when the trial ends until you add one, and nothing is deleted.
